Abstract

Lighting, in the field of audiovisual production, occupies a serious space relative to the composition of visual atmospheres that can contribute to the efficient development of a narrative and effective communication to the audience, for Begoña (2002) "Light has as its fundamental mission to express and show the narrative elements clearly and achieve an appropriate climate" (p. 103), this being essential for production booths, an important place for the construction of audiovisual content, which by not having lighting systems make it impossible to optimize the technical and creative quality of a recording made. We must know Wien's law as indicated by its author, Quintana (2020) who relates "the concepts of wavelength and temperature of a black body. This law defines that, the higher the temperature, the shorter the wavelength at which it emits" (p. 63), therefore, if the temperature increases, the emission in the violet and ultraviolet ranges increases, which shifts the color towards blue. In a television studio, a temperature of 6500 K is selected for general lighting of the set and 3500 K for the control area.
