Aspectos logísticos y operativos de Shein en Ecuador.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the operational processes of Shein brand products in the D category. The research adopts a qualitative approach, the use of the narrative method, an exploratory, descriptive and bibliographic scope. The choice of this approach is due to the need to understand the perspectives and experiences of those importers and consumers, as well as key aspects of the logistics and customs processes, allowing to obtain detailed information on Shein's operational processes, from product selection to distribution to Ecuador. The results highlighted the dynamics of logistical triangulation and the interaction between the company and its intermediaries, identifying logistical and customs barriers. The main challenges include delays in international transport, customs clearance, regulatory requirements and other specific controls.
