dc.description.abstractThe implementation of a strategic planning to improve the administrative management is essential for an organization to achieve its objectives and have a long presence in the market, for this reason in this article the two main factors in the company were analyzed which places its commercial activities in the metalworking industry, specifically in the manufacture of electrical fittings in the electrical goods category, located in the north-central part of the inter-Andean region, Quito - Ecuador. This study focuses on analyzing the current situation of the company and proposing a strategic plan to improve its performance, for this, a qualitative and quantitative research was carried out, with theoretical methods such as inductive-deductive, analytical-synthetic and historical-logical, also different techniques for collecting information such as the interview, PESTARI analysis, implementation of matrices for the evaluation of internal and external SWOT factors, the identification of a strategic map to visualize the main competencies of the organization. Resulting in the company lacking formal and systematic strategic planning, which limits the ability to make decisions, as its main strengths it has a solid reputation in the market, a committed team and an organizational culture oriented to quality, as well as obvious threats such as political instability. With this study it was identified how the implementation of more efficient systems and processes can be embedded, expanding its operations and diversifying its products, from this the company will be able to strengthen its position in the market and ensure its long-term success.es
