Implementación de un sistema de gestión de inventario multibodegas para los puntos de ventas de manta licor.

Abstract

This study presents the implementation of a multi-warehouse inventory management system for Manta Licor's points of sale, aimed at optimizing logistics, improving operational efficiency, and reducing inventory handling errors. The analysis of the company's needs identified key issues, such as the lack of real-time visibility and reliance on manual record-keeping in spreadsheets. To address these challenges, data was collected through surveys and interviews, facilitating the definition of the system's functional and non-functional requirements. For development, the agile Scrum methodology was employed, enabling an incremental and adaptable process. Modern technologies were used, including React.js for the user interface, PostgreSQL for database management, and Node.js for the backend. The implemented system incorporates essential functionalities, such as real-time inventory visualization, detailed report generation, and optimal stock level control. The results demonstrate a significant reduction in recording errors, increased accuracy in purchase planning, and improved customer satisfaction.
