Respuesta agronómica del pasto Mombasa Panicum maximum fertilizado con diferentes niveles de quelato de boro.

Abstract

This research work was carried out in the Río Suma Experimental Farm, belonging to the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí extension in El Carmen, located at Km 30 of the Chone road right margin, in the Canton El Carmen, Province of Manabí. The main objective of this work was to evaluate the agronomic response of the Pasto Megathyrsus maximus cv Mombasa, fertilized with different doses of boron chelate. In this study, the completely randomized design (DBCA) was used where 20 plots each of 4 m2 were used, with 4 repetitions of which the data were evaluated at 20, 25, 30 and 35 days, 5 boron chelate treatments were established (0,00; 0,50; 1,00; 1,50; 2,00 L ha-1). The data obtained were processed in the Infostat program, using the Tukey comparison test (0,05). The following variables were analyzed: plant height, stem length, leaf length, stem diameter, leaf diameter and leaf number. Therefore, no statistical differences were observed between treatments.
