Semiótica e interacción humana en plataformas digitales.

Abstract

Digital platforms are part of everyday life where they not only facilitate communication, but also influence how people relate to and perceive information. This essay cites authors who emphasize that semiotics provides a theoretical lens to understand how signs, symbols, and messages on these platforms are created, interpreted, and transmitted. That is why this research aims to investigate how semiotics is immersed in the way people interpret information and construct meanings in digital environments. To fulfill the proposed purpose and scope, a bibliographic and documentary review of studies and sources related to semiotics and its influence on digital communication is carried out. Among its conclusions, this study highlights that linguistic and non-verbal signs, together with technological interfaces and interaction dynamics in social networks, configure new forms of interaction that transform traditional communication practices, but without moving away from the verbal and kinesics language of human beings.
