Interacción de enfermería en la promoción y prevención de salud en pacientes con dengue.

Abstract

This study examines the contribution of nursing to health promotion and prevention in dengue patients, emphasizing the need to identify the most effective practices to improve care. Objective: To identify, through a bibliographic review, the primary role of nursing in the intervention, control, and surveillance of patients with arterial hypertension. Method: With a descriptive-analytical approach and through a systematic review of the literature, from a population of 129 sources, 20 were selected, highlighting Scielo, Scopus, and Latindex as main contributors. Results: The findings underscore the crucial role of nursing in disease management, pointing out opportunities to optimize current interventions. Despite the richness of the data, the predominance of Scielo suggests the need to diversify the databases in future studies for a more balanced analysis. In summary, the research highlights the importance of nursing in the care of dengue patients and proposes an intervention guide to improve health outcomes, reduce disease prevalence, and strengthen the capacity of nursing staff. Conclusions: This approach not only promises to improve the quality of life of patients but also to positively influence public health and resource efficiency, supporting safe and effective practices in dengue prevention.
