Derechos de los niños, niñas y adolescentes con necesidades especiales: análisis de la normativa legal.

Abstract

All children have the right to enjoy their rights without discrimination, regardless of their disability or other conditions. The objective of this article is to analyze the rights of children and adolescents with special needs in Ecuador from the legal regulations. It was oriented towards the quantitative approach, the paradigm used is the positivist one, the type of research was analytical-documentary-bibliographic. As an information technique, analysis of bibliographies and documentaries was used. The results show that Ecuador has ratified this convention, which implies a legal commitment to guarantee the rights of people with disabilities, including children and adolescents. It is concluded that, despite the fact that Ecuador has a robust legal framework, there is a wide disconnect between the regulations and their practical implementation that ends in the violation and infringement of the rights of children and adolescents.
