Análisis de la gestión del talento humano en la selección del personal hotelero, caso hoteles de Manta, primera y segunda categoría.

Abstract

The current case study focuses on making a diagnosis of how the management of human talent influences the selection of personnel in the first and second category hotel establishments of the Manta canton. The management of human talent is a process applied to the growth and benefit of conservation of the effort and expectations of the members of said organization at all of the individual and the institution. In the business world and in the hotel sector specifically, it is essential to properly manage staff, try to train them on issues related to quality, management of conflictive situations, optimization of technological resources, among others. The research has a quantitative approach, it is descriptive and the inductive-deductive method is used. In order to collect information in the field of study, the survey and interview questionnaire is used. Accordingly, 52 surveys are applied to hotel employees, these codes as positive the management of human talent in the selection of personnel, however, they indicate that when choosing employees, you should choose to choose people with knowledge of foreign languages, management of technological resources, capacities in various areas, among others. At the end, a series of strategies are developed, such as: giving talks, holding contests to find applicants and following up on the personnel selection system. The main beneficiaries of fully carrying out this stage will be the employees in the first instance and finally the users.
