Análisis de los recursos naturales de la cascada el pavón y su influencia en el desarrollo del Ecoturismo.

Abstract

The current investigation consists of carrying out a diagnosis on the current situation of natural resources and their contribution to the development of ecotourism in the El Pavón community, Pedernales canton. Natural resources are a very important contribution to ecotourism, but they must be preserved to avoid their disappearance. For the development of the project, the analytical-synthetic method is used, in addition the survey questionnaire is used as a technique for collecting information, in effect 103 surveys are applied to the inhabitants of the community. The results reveal that the El Pavón waterfall has many attributes, however, this attraction has failed to crystallize the expected development. This happens to a large extent due to the lack of attention of the local and provincial authorities, to this are added problems related to the indiscriminate felling of trees, the hunting of animals, among others. Residents have received training on gastronomy, customer service and care, and more. The activities that can be carried out are cycling, hiking, trekking, horseback riding and mountaineering. According to the above, the existence of various modalities of tourist practices in this territory is determined, however, it is necessary to correct the weak aspects to enhance these. In the end, strategies are developed in order to preserve the natural resources of the El Pavón community, this is achieved through the generation of protection policies and awareness talks aimed at both the inhabitants and the tourists who visit this site.
