Abstract

The present systematic review was carried out with the objective of theoretically substantiating the musculoskeletal disorders of the nursing staff through a bibliographical analysis. The methodology applied is of a documentary nature, under the explanatory level documentary design, which was applied with the purpose of fully complying with the stated objectives, which focus on identifying the most frequent musculoskeletal disorders, the main factors that favor it and the existence of preventive measures. For the development of this research, scientific articles that met the characteristics of interest were evaluated and synthesized, focused on personnel in the health area, mainly in the nursing field, without limitation of areas of activity development. The collection of information was carried out through databases in which reliable and legitimate information rests, such as Scielo, Dialnet, Redalyc and Google Scholar, among others. Same that gave as results that the development and suffering of these disorders is propitiated to risk factors, it is also highlighted that they are of labor origin since they develop due to work and the effects of the environment, the constant exposure of excessive loads for long periods of time. periods of time, triggering a series of aches and pains in different areas of the body such as the back, shoulders, neck, upper extremities and, in severe cases, the lower extremities. That is why a thorough and conscious evaluation and intervention is required so that they can be detected and treated in time without affecting individuals.
