El abordaje de casos con víctimas de violencia atendidos en la junta de protección de derechos de Montecristi desde la práctica preprofesional de trabajo social, años 2024-2025.

Abstract

In the qualitative project titled “The Approach to Cases Involving Victims of Violence Handled by the Montecristi Rights Protection Board from the Perspective of Social Work Pre-Professional Practice, 2024–2025”, the main objective was to analyze the role of the social worker in managing cases involving victims of violence, as well as identifying the strengths, weaknesses, and forms of intervention carried out by professionals within the board. This was all examined through a hermeneutic approach, aiming to deeply and interpretatively understand the experiences and analyses derived from social work practice with victims of violence. In addition to applying the crisis intervention model, which made it possible to understand the immediate response to high-impact situations for the victim, and the systemic model, which facilitated the analysis of the victim’s surrounding environment, this research highlighted the importance of the social worker in contexts where violence is present in many forms, and their key role in constructing human, effective, and contextualized responses to such situations. The interpretation of information was based on the analytical method, which helped to examine the social issue in question by identifying components that allow for a deeper understanding of the victims’ realities and, therefore, to propose decisions that are positive and beneficial for them.
