dc.description.abstract | This case study “Knowledge Management System To Organize and Transform Managerial Information in the Human Talent Department of the National Electricity Corporation of Manta, 2024”, addresses a critical issue; the absence of a structured system for managing knowledge within the Human Talent Department. This deficiency negatively affects decision making and operational efficiency, resulting in scattered information and limited access to relevant data. Initially, it was identified that the institution faces significant data fragmentation and lacks appropriate technological tools for knowledge management. Therefore, using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews and observations, revealing weaknesses in the processes of storing, organizing and transmitting knowledge within the department.The findings highlight a lack of effective tools and strategies for managing knowledge, which impacts the efficiency of administrative processes. As a result, the main objective was to propose a knowledge management system that enables the organization and transformation of managerial information within the department. Based on these findings, a proposal is presented using the Enterprise-Wide Knowledge Management System, which aims to centralize information. Ultimately, this proposal is expected to strengthen the organizational culture, improve knowledge flow and enhance the department’s responsiveness to institutional challenges. | es |
