Abstract

Increasing concerns about food safety and food origin combine to create an environment in which companies are under pressure to produce safe products and maintain the integrity of their brands. Therefore, the objective of this research is to design a management system for the approval and monitoring of suppliers under the standards of the BRC V8 global food safety standard, in order to reduce the risk of food fraud and maintain the quality, legality and safety of the raw materials used to manufacture their products.
