“ANÁLISIS DE LA ACTIVIDAD TURÍSTICA DE LA COMUNIDAD LIGÜIQUI, CANTÓN MANTA”

Abstract

Currently, tourism represents one of the main sources of income to the country, so day by day in Ecuador tourism is promoted through the tourist activities offered by different regions, cities and communities to tourists, in order to boost economic growth. The main objective of this research work is to analyze the tourist activities of the Ligüiqui community that manage community tourism. The methodology used in this study is quantitative approach, descriptive scope and non-experimental design. For data collection, the survey model focused on tourists and entrepreneurs from the Ligüiqui community was used. According to the results, it was obtained that the main tourist attraction recognized by tourists is the beach and that they visit the place with the greatest affluence at certain times of the year, in addition, it was evidenced that tourism has had a negative impact on the environment. Under these circumstances, a proposal was established to efficiently manage all the tourist attractions that the community has.
