Abstract

The present investigation proposes the design of a wireless network for the communication of information in the "Los Laureles" neighborhood in the El Carmen canton, in order to determine if it is technically and economically viable at the same time as a basis for future explorations. In this integrating project the structure follows the following model. In the first place, the problem of poor internet coverage is presented, which shows several drawbacks leading to several causes that are explained later, likewise during the development of the research, bibliographic reviews are carried out for the conceptual foundation of: technologies, definitions, securities and tools, to fully understand the theoretical and technical foundations. Subsequently, in the investigative framework, emphasis was placed on the methods used to evaluate the magnitude of the problem, describing, tabulating and interpreting the data obtained, after which the elaboration of the proposal is shown, where the phase is adopted according to the PPDIOO methodology that helps the development of Internet networks. Finally, the result of the design of the wireless network for the communication of information in the "Los Laureles" neighborhood in the El Carmen canton is presented, according to the analysis of the technologies and needs of the inhabitants, admitting the deficient coverage of the networks. computers to carry out certain academic activities and the residents state that they would be willing to acquire another internet service at a reasonable cost.
