Abstract

Within the research, it is intended to know the perception of risk on the use of psychotropic drugs in students, identifying factors, effects and risks that intervene in the consumption by young people, and without a medical prescription, collecting real information in order to develop the recognition of the perception of risk about the use of psychotropic drugs in the students of the Laica Eloy Alfaro Manabí University period 2022-2023.In this investigation it was possible to know the risk perspective of the students on the consumption of psychotropic drugs, a descriptive and exploratory study was carried out with a quantitative approach, which allowed to know as well as to identify possible causes of the problem, in a reliable and truthful way, The chosen population of interest in Uleam was the Faculty of Social Sciences, Law and Well-being, making the necessary inquiries regarding the problems raised. The type of quantitative methodological design was applied, carrying out the data collection technique that was the survey, with closed questions to the students, thus providing these information in a confident way of the communication, economics, social work and law careers, based on Based on the statistical results obtained, the synthesis analytical method was executed, which allowed us to know the realities of perception in the students, thus allowing us to obtain true and reliable results, limiting ourselves only to the description and exposure of the precise data. The result of this research will benefit all university students together with society in order to know the situation regarding the risk perspective of the use of these drugs.
