Resumen : Working as a teacher contributes significantly to the development of individuals, but sometimes there are psychosocial factors that influence their work environment, which has an impact on their psychological health, generating negative effects in the various spheres that make up their daily life. The context surrounding the daily life of teachers can be factors that generate stress and negatively affect both their personal life and their professional practice at the time of imparting their knowledge, based on this, this study arises, which aims to detect the levels of incidence of work stress of teachers of the Juan Montalvo Educational Unit. The cut of the research is qualitative, through this type of methodology the problem can be approached with a broader analysis and based on the experiences of the participants involved; the interview techniques were used, related to the instruments the structured questionnaire of questions and a stress test were implemented. Descripción : El ejercer como docente contribuye de forma significativa en el desarrollo de los individuos, pero en ocasiones existen factores psicosociales que influyen en su entorno laboral lo que repercute en su salud psicológica generando efectos negativos en las diversas esferas que conforman su diario vivir. El entorno que envuelve la cotidianidad de los docentes tiende a convertirse en factores que generen estrés y que afecten negativamente tanto su vida personal como su ejercicio profesional al momento de impartir sus conocimientos, en base a ello surge este estudio, el cual tiene como propósito, detectar los niveles de incidencia del estrés laboral de los docentes de la Unidad Educativa Juan Montalvo.
