Abstract

The following work aimed to determine the importance of intelligent applications in lodging establishments as a strategy to strengthen tourism in Bahía de Caráquez, Sucre canton, Manabí province. The existing lodging establishments in the area served as the basis for this research. The investigation is based on a combination of explanatory and descriptive field methods, utilizing techniques such as surveys and direct observation, as well as the use of the Google Forms tool to collect and analyze relevant statistical data.The research results indicate that the implementation of intelligent applications in lodging establishments is an effective strategy to enhance the tourists' experience and strengthen the tourism sector in Bahía de Caráquez. It is concluded that it is pertinent to consider this work as support for decision-making aimed at implementing intelligent applications in lodging establishments in the area to boost tourism.
