Análisis del desarrollo de turismo comunitario en el recinto agua dulce del cantón jipijapa.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the development of community tourism in the Agua Dulce Campus, located in the Jipijapa canton. Community tourism has emerged as a promising alternative for local development, allowing the participation of the community for the benefit of tourism in its territory. However, despite the potential identified in the Agua Dulce Campus, an analysis of its development and its impact on the local community is lacking. This study was based on a mixed approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. A field investigation was conducted, using techniques such as direct observation, interviews with key actors who are immersed in community tourism in the Agua Dulce Campus and a survey of tourists in order to extract fundamental information on how community tourism has developed in recent years. In addition, bibliographical research was conducted to collect relevant information on community tourism. Based on the findings, strategies are proposed to strengthen and improve the development of community tourism, these strategies include effective promotion, creation of a tourism product, community training and preserving the environment. In conclusion, tourism in the Agua Dulce area has proven to be a viable alternative for local development. Its positive socioeconomic and cultural impact on the community supports the proposed hypothesis. However, a greater effort is required in the implementation of a strategy that strengthens its development, with the purpose of guaranteeing the economic benefits with all the members of the community.
