Abstract

The present study is based on the analysis of the urban area of the Tosagua canton, in order to respond in this way to the need of users to promote local and intercantonal tourism and boost the economy of the area, all this through the proposal of a comprehensive linear park. Tourist recreation areas affect economic development and the quality of life of the population, due to the different positive aspects that influence social, climatological and economic aspects. That is why the main objective of this work is to design a linear park that is focused on the integrality of existing public spaces, allowing to promote recreation, leisure, environmental conservation, pollution mitigation of green areas and tourism in the area. territory. The methodology that was used in the first instance was descriptive with a qualitative nature, which allowed studying the existing infrastructure, while the deductive analytical method was also used with a quantitative nature, to facilitat the collection of information in situ, the result of which made it possible to collect information. for the creation of the architectural program. The purpose of this work is to respond to the deficit of tourist infrastructure in the canton, based on three fundamental criteria for the proposal, such as: comprehensiveness, inclusiveness and economic sustainability.
