Propuesta de reordenamiento urbano en el barrio Costa Azul de la ciudad de Manta.

Abstract

The present research work and urban proposal has as its theme: PROPOSAL CARRERA DE ARQUITECTURA OF URBAN REORGANIZATION IN THE COSTA A ZUL NEIGHBORHOOD OF THE CITY OF MANTA. This neighborhood began forming with informal settlements, and is located within the urban parish "Los Esteros" of the city of Manta. It has an estimated population of 7000 inhabitants. The main problem it presents is the disorganization of spaces within the sector. As a result of this, there is a lack of green areas, the design of the road system is not adequate since its streets are narrow and does not have sidewalks, curbs, horizontal and vertical signage, or urban furniture. The field of action in which the project is located is in "Territorial planning, vulnerability and risk management" whose main objective is the diagnosis of territorial disorganization, based on this to design a proposal for urban reorganization. The methodology used mainly focused on the application of information collection techniques, through the application of surveys to a sample of the population to obtain an approximate approach to the needs of the inhabitants of the sector. From the data obtained in the research, it is intended to design a proposal for reorganization in the neighborhood, taking as its main axis the road system and the deficit of spaces for recreation, recreation and leisure, to improve the urban image of the place.
