Abstract

This integrative work begins with an investigation into the problems that exist in the urban space for public use, begins with a basic identification of the problem and to develop the first chapter referring to the theoretical frameworks related to the problem identified according to the guidelines corresponding to land use planning, public space management and risk mitigation, in addition to changes in the urban physical structure and the environment natural, existing in the Río de Oro ravine of the Portoviejo canton. Then the study area is delimited with the objective of understanding the process of urbanization of the sector. There the appropriate diagnoses are made to understand the current phenomenon, know the situation of the general urban structure of the area of study, this leads to the irregular occupation of the land in chaotic and generates connectivity problems and degrades the urban context. The results obtained are presented graphically to better understand the territorial planning, management of public space and existing risks within of territorial spaces, and finally the results establish guidelines, strategies and recommendations, which corresponds to the purpose of this final work career that is to generate a proposal for a Linear Park that enhances the socioeconomic and environmental characteristics and aspects to satisfy and increase the economic and social system.
