Propuesta de diseño de espacios públicos óptimos en la Cooperativa 10 de agosto de la parroquia Santo Domingo del cantón Santo Domingo de los Colorados.

Abstract

The present study was carried out in the 10 de Agosto cooperative in the Santo Domingo canton, with the main problem being the low quality of life and insecurity in the sector caused by not having these public spaces. The objective is to solve these problems with a proposal of optimal urban public space design, thus recovering abandoned spaces, which, with adequate intervention, would be able to create places of recreation and leisure for all the inhabitants of the sector and surrounding neighborhoods. An analysis of the place was carried out, thus determining the key spaces for the park design proposal, to achieve a adequate zoning and functionality of said spaces, 186 were carried out surveys to find out what people's preferences and thoughts are of the cooperative August 10. This work aims to identify the problems that exist today and through a strategy and good urban design – architectural proposal to propose urban public spaces that help in the aspects social, economic, cultural, political, of the neighborhood and its sectors adjacent, thus increasing the safety and quality of life of its inhabitants.
