Trazabilidad de antibióticos en ganaderías lecheras de la parroquia Paraíso La 14 del Cantón El Carmen Manabí.

Abstract

The present investigative work took place in the Paraíso La 14 parish of the Canton El Carmen, which is located in the Northwest of the Province of Manabí in Ecuador. The main objective of the present work is to determine the traceability of antibiotics in the dairy farms of the Paraíso La 14 parish of El Carmen Manabí Canton, in order to establish the presence of antibiotic residuality in the dairy herds of the Parish, identify the pharmacological groups present in the different farms sampled and to know the risk factors associated with the presence of residues in the milk produced, in the different dairy herds in the area. To achieve these objectives, the present investigation carried out multivariate analyzes with the reported values of the traceability of antibiotics and with the dependent variables (Risk factors) resulting from the survey. And the Winepi statistical software will be used. A total of 19 samples were collected from the farms in the study area, giving an average traceability of 15,79%, giving a positive result for the presence of tetracyclines. Regarding the risk factors, it was established that they are aspects directly associated with the risk (O.R. > 1) of the presence of antibiotics in the milk of the dairy herds of the Paraíso La 14 parish of El Carmen Canton, Manabí. On the contrary, the other variables expressed protection factors (O.R. < 1), and those that could not be applied (O.R) were because two values were needed and their answers were that they all did they all did the mentioned activities.
