Efecto de dos dosis de bioestimulante Súper-Magro y tres frecuencias de aplicación, en el rendimiento de maíz (Zea mays L.).

Abstract

The research was carried out on the grounds of the Río Suma Experimental Farm of the "Eloy Alfaro" Lay University of Manabí, El Carmen Extension. Its objective was to evaluate the effect of two doses of the Super-Lean biostimulant and three application frequencies, on the yield of the Corn (Z. mays) crop. The experimental unit was made up of a total of 24 experimental units, 4 x 15 m with a study area of 384 m², where two doses of the Super Lean biostimulant were applied at three moments of the phenological stage of the Thunder hybrid maize. The dose and frequency of the Super-Lean biostimulant did not influence the morphological parameters of the corn crop (Hybrid Thunder). The best results in this variable were obtained by treatment 6 with a performance of 6,95. t ha-1. The variables diameter and length of the cob did not show significant differences, the most promising value was shown by treatment 3 with a value of 13.96 cm. This study did not show a statistical difference in the yield of the corn crop, however, good results were obtained at the yield level, with treatment 6 standing out with 6,95 t ha-1. The benefit/cost analysis carried out allowed us to affirm that profits were obtained in all treatments, the ratio (B/C˃1) in all cases was greater than 1, treatment 6 standing out with a value of 2.30 dollars; this indicates that the benefits are greater than the costs, therefore, the research must be considered for its application.
