Comportamiento agronómico del sistema agroforestal (plátano – caña guadua) al primer año de instalación.

Abstract

The research was carried out at the Rio Suma Experimental Farm, located in El Carmen Canton, Manabí province. Its objective was to evaluate the productive parameters of the Plátano - Caña Guadua agroforestry system. A longitudinal non-experimental design of evolutionary analysis was used, where variables of the vegetative development of bamboo cane and banana crops in a polyculture system were evaluated over time and the relationships between them were established. A correlation analysis of the variables evaluated in each crop was used, for which the Pearson Correlation Coefficient r was used for a significance level of p≤0.05. The vegetative development of the guadua cane at 120 days showed adequate growth and average number of shoots. The vegetative development of the banana was presented at 120 days with an average height of the plants and a number of leaves according to their phenology. The interactions studied up to 120 days show that there is no negative correlation between the variables studied, so it is feasible to plant in polyculture systems.
