Abstract

The Ligüiqui commune belonging to the San Lorenzo parish of the Manta canton is a potential tourist area located on the beach profile of the rural area of ​​the canton, It is an area with a large number of tourists and local people which lacks spaces and urban furniture to complement essential activities for the integrative and collective use activities for its population. With this investigation, a project will be determined which will provide a solution to the problems found in the sector and promote tourism in the commune and its surroundings. The research belongs to the line on architectural projects of habitat and/or theory of architecture established by the faculty of architecture of the University Lay Eloy Alfaro from Manabí whose objective is to analyze and diagnose the urban-architectural problems in the Ligüiqui commune for the approach of architectural urban design solutions in the beach profile of the commune, using the research instruments and the appropriate criteria according to the topic.
