Propuesta arquitectónica de centro comunitario para el distrito 4 en la parroquia Andrés de vera del cantón Portoviejo.

Abstract

This end-of-career work is born from a recurrent social problem common in the Manabí environment, particularly focused on its capital; Portoviejo; situation that is visible to all inhabitants but has not been addressed or solved, dragging along with it multitudinous problems for the sector. The area chosen for this research was the Andrés de Vera parish, specifically between the neighborhoods: San alejo, Eloy Alfaro del Camino, the cherry trees and the orchids, where the degree of insecurity and lack of equipment delays and disperses the social coexistence in the sector. Directing the gaze towards the promotion of social interaction, coexistence in harmony and culture are strategic points to eradicate the setbacks of the social collective in the current times; a space that allows the development of skills of both men and women, can be a liberating path for those who are experiencing difficult situations in their day to day; Therefore, after the application of certain research methodologies and techniques, the proposal of a community center that includes the population of District 4 of the aforementioned parish, destined for educational, cultural and recreational projects and / or satisfying the demands of coexistence of the inhabitants. The project has been analyzed so that the design of its spaces has total utility, taking international references as a starting point, and then adapting these ideas in accordance with the requirements of the population, the parish and the canton. Projects that promote the social reactivation of specific places achieve a change in the mentality of its inhabitants and show them another perspective of life, thus, the community center would achieve the empowerment of public space through potentially effective equipment.
