Propuesta de renovación del malecón escénico de Manta.

Abstract

This research work aims to provide an answer to the problem that develops on the Scenic Malecón of the city of Manta with respect to infrastructure tourism, through the application of the research methodology, we proceeded to take into consideration theoretical criteria regarding flexible public spaces, borders coastal areas, principles to convert coastal edges into spaces that are productive for citizens, and that promote urban accessibility and inclusion, which together with the situational diagnosis of the study area formed the basis for the approach of the integrative proposal. Based on the analysis of the results obtained from the research, it was evidences the need for an intervention in the current boardwalk, for this it is proposed a viable alternative solution in order to give said space the qualities that they require to favor the development of socio-urban activities for the users, local and foreign visitors, supported by concepts of accessibility and inclusion, social integration that is effective and develops in a better way, weighing in a collective social benefit, this is achieved through the generation of spaces that provide optimal appropriate conditions that favor social development and economic of the city, with spaces that facilitate the development of activities by of the users.
