Percepción del confort térmico en los espacios públicos de la Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí extensión Chone.

Abstract

The public spaces of the universities are considered as places of connectivity, visual enjoyment and personal or collective rest among the students, this is why the importance of green areas and trees as elements that favor the comfort and thermal comfort of users. The Chone, allows us to estimate the conditions of it, the orientation of its buildings, the vegetation, the properties of the materials and the type of furniture to be implemented. thermal sensation evaluated in seven points that vary from very hot to very cold, based on the scale of thermal sensation of ISO 7730 (2005), it is also possible to know aspects such as clothing, gender, age and their knowledge of the concept of thermal comfort. The results obtained in this research may be used for the design or adaptation of public spaces, either educational or general in cities with similar climates to the analyzed, favoring the interaction and comfort of the users of these spaces.
