Abstract

The García Moreno parish belonging to the Orellana canton presents informal settlements on the banks of the Napo River due to what affects the use of public space land in such a way that it turns it into private space, in turn affects the visual infrastructure and the habitability of citizens. With this investigation a project will be determined which will provide a solution. to the problems found in the sector and provoke a tourist awakening of the Parish and its surroundings. The investigation belongs to the line of territorial planning, vulnerability and risk management established by the faculty of architecture of the Eloy Alfaro Lay University of Manabí whose objective is to diagnose the urban architectural problems on the right bank of the Napo River to propose urban architectural design solutions to the parish, using appropriate research instruments appropriate to the topic.
