La Violencia de Género y su Incidencia en el Desarrollo Profesional de las Mujeres, Manta 2024.

Abstract

Throughout history, women have been the most frequent victims of gender violence within the family, workplace, school, etc.; that is why within this project, a development of the meaning of violence against women and its impact on their professional development in the canton Manta. The methodology was developed with a mixed methodology because it was obtained through the information that was analyzed through the statistical procedure of a quantitative-qualitative nature; the research was carried out in several stages: Surveys were applied to women to find out if violence against women exists within the citadel, likewise an interview was applied to certain women who have reported gender violence, where they also exposed their life story to learn about and give more relevance to the subject addressed. The analysis of results revealed as a purpose the risk factors for gender violence according to the different theoretical positions analyzed. The conclusions acknowledge the completion of a significant amount of research obtained from surveys, interviews and life histories on violence and development in different areas of women, which helps social workers to engage within the dynamics of this phenomenon, focusing on the variety of criteria, elements, variables, causes, consequences, conditions, etc. In this process, it is essential to design a continuous work where professionals are involved and are responsible for addressing the different conflicts that occur in women.
