Muestreo, análisis y monitoreo de lubricantes de maquinaria naval en buques atuneros de la ciudad de Manta.

Abstract

The field of industrial equipment maintenance is constantly evolving, seeking to integrate new technologies or innovate existing tools. This project proposes the tool for the analysis of used oil applied to equipment of industrial tuna vessels in the city of Manta as a method for condition monitoring and failure prevention. An operational plan of procedures was designed, which will provide the necessary guidelines for each phase involved in the analysis of lubricants, with special emphasis on the correct practices of sampling lubricants in tuna vessel equipment that allow obtaining "representative samples" of the condition of the equipment. Then the samples are sent to the respective laboratory which fulfills the function of carrying out the necessary tests to know the most important parameters of the lubricant, measurements such as water content, viscosity, chemical degradation of the lubricant, wear components of the analyzed equipment, contamination, among others. Immediately, the result of the analysis is reflected in a report sheet. Finally, the technician in charge receives the detailed report by team and will keep track of the status of each equipment, in this way it is possible to guarantee the correct operation of the equipment and the prevention of failures in the tuna boats in which the operational plan of procedures is carried out.
