Análisis de la promoción del marco institucional y normativo para el desarrollo económico en el cantón Manta periodo 2024.

Abstract

This case analysis evaluates how the regulatory reforms implemented by the Decentralized Autonomous Government (GAD) of the Manta canton in 2024 have contributed to local economic development. The study addresses the codification of ordinances, the implementation of tax incentives and the integration of social and environmental objectives, highlighting their impact on tax collection, private investment and sustainability. Likewise, it analyzes international cooperation as a key catalyst in the execution of strategic projects that promote inclusive and sustainable growth. Through the theoretical framework based on principles of sustainable development and participatory planning, achievements such as strengthening the local economy and challenges related to transparency and policy monitoring are identified. Finally, strategies are proposed to optimize the institutional and regulatory framework, consolidating Manta as a reference in public management aimed at sustainable economic and social development.
