Caracterización morfológica del pasto Guatemala (Tripsacum laxum) a tres edades de corte en época de escasez hídrica.

Abstract

The execution of this research project was carried out at the Agrodimeza Company, located at kilometer 29 Vía Chone – Sto Domingo, in the canton of El Carmen, province of Manabí in the humid tropics. The objective of this research was to evaluate the incidence of cutting age in Guatemala Grass (Tripsacum laxum) on morphology. A Completely Randomized Block Design (DBCA) was used with three treatments and seven repetitions. The results obtained were evaluated with INFOSTAT with Tukey's significance test. Statistical incidence was noted in the factor studied on the response variables, where the length of leaves showed significance (p<0.01) finding two levels of significance where the ages of eighty and ninety days, statistically similar, reached the highest value.
