dc.description.abstract | This research focuses on knowing and analyzing the teaching strategies used by the teacher in his pedagogical management in significant learning in the area of mathematics of the students of 6th year of general basic education parallel "A" and "B" of the Educational Unit "Dr. Luis Aveiga Barberán", Canton El Carmen. In this research we learned the strategies used by the teacher for the development of his teaching in mathematics. The study was carried out with a qualitative and quantitative approach and with a descriptive level, which allowed to know and describe the attitudes of the students, through a survey to the students and an interview to the teachers it was possible to know in depth details of the pedagogical management of the teacher and its effectiveness that it had on the students. Through the results of the survey, it was concluded that 82% of the students recognized that the pedagogical management carried out by the teachers favors them in their learning. In addition, it was learned that 34% of teachers use strategies to achieve meaningful learning, and we also learned that teachers mentioned traditional and basic strategies for their teaching. For this reason, recommendations are offered for teaching strategies so that teachers can improve their performance in the area of mathematics and so that students can learn significantly, leaving aside the usual methodologies and reducing the need to repeat the class continuously, because through methods and techniques, effective knowledge can be achieved and built that fulfill the purpose of favoring the teaching and learning process in mathematics. | es |
