Abstract

In order for agricultural SMEs to carry out the internationalization process, several competitive factors that affect this process were taken into account, such as the lack of access to financing. The main objective of this article was to analyze the influence of competitive factors in the internationalization process of agricultural SMEs in the Manta canton. The scope of this research is descriptive and corrective and a quantitative methodology was used where data was collected through questionnaires aimed at an intentional sample of 29 companies that operate in the agricultural sector, the SPSS data analysis system was used to process and analyze the collected data. Based on the surveys carried out, it was found that 31.03% of those surveyed disagree that agricultural SMEs have adequate access to financing to support their internationalization. It was concluded that the internationalization process of agricultural SMEs entails several challenges and opportunities that affect this development, evidencing the relevance of each of these so that agricultural SMEs can have not only access to foreign markets but also recognition, improve their situation. financial and its competitiveness compared to other markets.
