The main objective of this research was to determine the accessibility for people with physical disabilities at the beaches of the Jama canton. A mixed approach was adopted, combining exploratory and descriptive designs. Analytical, deductive, and inductive methods were employed, allowing for a detailed view of the accessibility conditions in this coastal environment. Data collection was conducted through surveys, interviews, and direct observations, ensuring a comprehensive perspective on the barriers and opportunities for the inclusion of people with disabilities at Jama's beaches.A total of 92 individuals were surveyed, including local residents, tourists, and family members of people with disabilities, which provided key information about available infrastructure such as ramps, walkways, and amphibious chairs. Interviews with tourism experts and authorities from the GAD of Jama also offered deeper insights into the challenges and ongoing initiatives to improve accessibility. The results indicated that despite the interest from tourists and the local population, inadequate infrastructure and a lack of inclusive public policies are the main obstacles limiting the participation of people with disabilities in recreational activities.Based on the findings, it is proposed to develop an accessibility guide that includes the implementation of suitable infrastructures like ramps, walkways, and amphibious chairs, as well as promoting public policies that encourage inclusive tourism. This guide should be designed in collaboration with tourism operators, local GAD officials, and disability organizations to ensure that Jama's beaches are accessible to all.The research concludes that although Jama canton has significant tourism potential, the lack of adequate accessibility for people with disabilities limits its full utilization. Urgent measures are needed to improve infrastructure and promote a cultural shift towards inclusion. The proposal for an accessibility guide is a comprehensive solution that can facilitate the inclusion of people with disabilities in tourism activities, contributing to the growth of inclusive tourism in the canton.es
