Evaluacion del ruido ambiental generado por los establecimientos nocturnos en la avenida Flavio Reyes, de la ciudad de Manta.

Abstract

This study consists of the evaluation of environmental noise generated on Avenida Flavio Reyes in the city of Manta during the months October, November, and December in 2024. A survey of the population was conducted in order to identify and select sampling points. This determined six representative locations that are within the parameters of the study area. These points were georeferenced for subsequent analysis. The sound pressure level was measured, at each point, during a twelve-hour period at night. Sound pressure level was specifically measured during the weekends. This verified the minimum and maximum sound pressure values every hour. The data collected from both surveys and sound pressure measurements were subjected to statistical analysis. The results were then presented on bar charts and pie charts, facilitating the interpretation of the data. Six noise maps were generated by the Argics platform which represents each zone of the study area, Noise maps uses a colorimetric scale with five levels of intensity (very low, low, medium, high, very high). Finally, a noise control plan was developed in accordance with the Ministerial Agreement 097- A that includes three tables with proposed control measures directed for residents, merchants, and local authorities.
