Abstract

This research focuses on understanding the management of cultural ecosystem services for cultural tourism ventures in San Clemente, Manabí, Ecuador. It focuses on the importance of conserving cultural and natural heritage in the process of tourism activities at the site. The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of the management of cultural ecosystem services on the development and sustainability of rural tourism ventures in San Clemente, Manabí. The methodology applied was quantitative and qualitative research, and survey techniques were also used. The population for this research was 385, and the representative sample was 44 rural tourism ventures. The data were tabulated in SPSS with a reliability level of 0.835. As a result, it was found that people are willing to delve deeper into the topic of cultural ecosystem services for their tourism ventures and to position San Clemente as a prominent tourism destination.
