Abstract

The Triple Helix model proposes active collaboration between universities, businesses, and governments to promote innovation and sustainable economic development. This study aimed to analyze how this dynamic can foster sustainable entrepreneurship in the Leónidas Plaza parish. A mixed methodology was used, combining interviews and surveys, with a deductive and empirical approach, within a descriptive research methodological design. The population and sample were appropriately defined, and the SPSS tool was used for data analysis. The results reveal a notable lack of knowledge among entrepreneurs about the Triple Helix and sustainability, highlighting the need for training in these areas. The interviews highlighted the importance of synergy among the stakeholders involved to enhance local entrepreneurship. In conclusion, the proposal for cooperation through the Triple Helix is ​​essential to foster sustainable entrepreneurship in Leónidas Plaza. They should focus on facilitating access to resources, training, and financial support, promoting an environment conducive to innovation and growth by integrating efforts between universities, government, and the private sector to strengthen the capacities of entrepreneurs and foster cooperation among different sectors. This will contribute to the economic and prosperous development of the parish, ensuring a more sustainable and prosperous future for the community.
