Diagnóstico de datos Agroproductivos en las comunidades de la Parroquia Ricaurte del Cantón Chone periodo 2024.

Abstract

This research was carried out in the Ricaurte parish and is located at North Latitude -0° 34' 57.08 and West Longitude -80° 2' 25.68, on the Ecuadorian coast, in the center of the Chone Canton of the Province of Manabí. It limits to the north with the Eloy Alfaro Rural Parish and the Flavio Alfaro Canton; to the South and East with the territory of the Chone Urban Parish; and to the West the Boyacá Rural Parish. The main objective being to describe the productive, agronomic and use of natural resources situation of the Ricaurte Parish, where different methods and techniques (survey) were used in the research. As a result, the agricultural production of this parish is diverse, producers mention that it produces between 1 and 5 products (cocoa, citrus fruits, timber trees), among the main crops are perennial types; the same ones that are fertilized and controlled through the application of organic and inorganic fertilizers and pesticides for pest control. On the other hand, in livestock production, 32% of the producers are involved in or produce cattle. Concluding that the producers of the Ricaurte parish focus their agricultural production on both the agricultural and livestock fields.
