Abstract

A Mobile Application will be developed with data mining for the transportation logistics of independent deliveries in the El Carmen canton. Our main objective in this degree work proposal is to develop a mobile application with data mining for the logistics of transporting independent deliveries in the canton of El Carmen. The designed mobile application will allow users to make product purchases through their mobile devices and choose the delivery drivers who will carry out the deliveries. It will also provide companies with the ability to register and offer their products on the platform with the purpose of increasing productivity, reducing operating costs and improving the quality of the company's delivery service. This includes improving customer, company, and delivery management, as well as product administration, through the use of data mining techniques, offering real-time information on the status of data, improving overall customer satisfaction, this could include the identification of areas for improvement, the detection of demand patterns, among other aspects. The results were obtained through a survey and an interview to identify the needs of these independent delivery services. Our degree proposal seeks to apply data mining techniques to design and develop an application that improves the growth of electronic commerce, which is a way of making purchases and sales through the Internet.
