Abstract

The objective of the research was to design a Management System for better control of the inventories of the company PRLLANTAS S.A. of the Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas canton, the interview was carried out with the owner of the company, it was observed that it does not have a manual of procedures and functions. To achieve the objectives, the deductive method was used to demonstrate with theoretical arguments that the implementation of inventory control in companies contributes to improving their processes and the observation method to investigate the specific situations that occur within the company, which is why This is the importance of implementing a procedures manual helping to keep the warehouse in order, specifying each function that personnel must fulfill along with the establishment of policies. The company does not have a clear objective, it does not have a mission and vision that can measure its fulfillment and it is because of them that it is proposed to implement a procedures manual that helps the inventory management of the company PROLLANTAS S.A. of the Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas Canton.
