Abstract

This study, entitled "Use of Technological Tools to Guarantee Access to Information in the Community of Pacoche, Manta 2024," aims to identify and evaluate technological tools that, when adapted to local characteristics, can improve the availability, quality, and distribution of information. It also seeks to understand the impact these tools can have on strengthening community participation, informed decision-making, and boosting the local economy. The community of Pacoche, located in the San Lorenzo parish of the Manta canton in Manabí, like many similar communities around the world, faces significant challenges regarding access to information and technology. In today's digital age, where information is key to development, addressing these barriers becomes a priority for sustainable growth and social inclusion. The fundamental objective of this research is to determine access to information through the use of technological tools to empower residents of the Pacoche community to access, share, and use relevant and up-to-date information, harnessing the potential of technology as a means to ensure a better lifestyle and contribute to the comprehensive development of the community.
