Abstract

The research carried out focused on the study of the current demands of the health sector in relation to the graduate profile of the nursing career. The general objective was to develop a systematic study based on literature reviews on the current demands of the employing institutions in the health sector in relation to the graduate profile of the nursing career. The Methodology in the research process was based on a study of a mixed nature, of a Documentary type, developed from a modality of Bibliographic Reviews, in which it was very necessary to use the analytical-synthetic, descriptive and deductive method, with management of inclusion criteria of studies represented in original and scientific articles published in academic and scientific databases. In the results obtained from a sample of 18 research studies related to the subject of the study, it was found that it was led by Scielo with 6 studies equivalent to 33.33%; followed by Google Scholar with 4 articles equivalent to 22.22%; Dialnet continued with 3 studies representing 16.66%; Redalyc with 1 study equal to 5.56%; Latindex equal to 1 study equivalent to 5.56%. From organisations such as WHO, PAHO and MOH, 1 study was selected from each, equivalent to 5.56%. In conclusion, it was found that nursing professionals to access the labour field in the public and private health sector must meet a series of requirements and application process to be selected, with greater demand in the public health sector.
