Abstract

Artificial intelligence is a tool used in the use of learning models to search or interpret medical data, a characteristic that positions it as an integral part of modern care. The objective of this research was to analyze the use of artificial intelligence in predicting results and improving patient care. The methodology used was an observational-descriptive study based on a bibliographic review of indexed databases such as Elsevier, Science Direct, Scielo and Redalyc. Historical-logical, analytical-synthetic and inductive-deductive methods were used to analyze and synthesize the information, and inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied to guarantee the relevance of the articles. The results showed that artificial intelligence has proven to be a key tool in medicine, improving diagnoses, personalizing treatments and optimizing clinical processes. However, its implementation faces ethical and technical challenges, therefore, responsible adoption, with adequate regulatory frameworks and professional training, is crucial to maximize its benefits without replacing human judgment. In conclusion, artificial intelligence has great potential for use in medical care in predicting results and patient care, favoring professionals and users of medical services; Therefore, to inform about the benefits of artificial intelligence, an informative brochure was designed with the most important aspects.
