Afectación económica de la pandemia covid-19 en establecimientos de hospedaje de la playa Crucita, cantón Portoviejo.

Abstract

The following work aimst o determine the economic impact suffered by the hotel establishments of Crucita beach, Portoviejo canton, Manabí province, for which the experiences during the COVID-19 Pandemic of the actors in the field of hotel service in the area are based. The research is of descriptive type of field; techniques such as census and direct observation, field visits, and the Microsoft Excel tool were used to obtain and process statistical data, which are related to the importance of knowing the degree of economic impact of hotel establishments by the pandemic. The results of the research indicate that the hosting establishments studied have a significant economic impact as a result of the current global health crisis. It is concluded that it is relevant to take into account the contribution of this work, as a support to make decisions that aim to reduce the effects of the health crisis on the hosting companies located on the beach of Crucita.
