Abstract

Within the investigation, one of the fundamental pillars is the analysis and promotion of the tourist destinations of the Jama canton through strategies and action plans to seek a tourist and economic development of the tourist destinations that the Jama canton has. The analysis of this research will not only allow us to know the natural and cultural attractions that each of the tourist destinations of the Jama canton has but will also allow us to make it known to a potential market which will allow us to carry out an adequate promotion counting on all the biosafety measures and standards to guarantee the health of all who will be part of this research project. The Jama canton is one of the cantons that is part of the Spondylus route, which in previous years strengthened the tourist activity of the canton, it has rich flora and fauna where you can enjoy free time, distraction and relaxation through sports such as cycling, hiking, kayaking, among other sports, they can even practice fishing through the respective control of the community members, Jama is a canton that has approximately 40 kilometers of beach, it is worth mentioning that the town of Jama and its beaches are part of the Ruta del Sol tourist circuit that runs from south to north along the Ecuadorian coast, however, despite having With a great diversity of instruments, it has not been able to position itself as a tourist place and preferred by tourists, since there are no tourist services that are in accordance with the needs of visitors, and that is why through marketing strategies it is sought strengthen the tourism sector of this canton to generate a tourism development and in this way it can position itself in the market and be known locally and nationally and give a better quality of life to people who are engaged in tourism activities.
